salary up to £90k DOE + 10% discretional annual bonus

Progressive Fin Tech business using cutting edge technology -  business has been around for 16 yrs as a P to P lender, recently launched their own bank in 2020, turning the financial lending business on its head by removing additional charges that you typically see with other banks. Business built on transparency, honesty + trust, and has resulted in numerous awards, accolades + technical nods of approval from across the industry.

 

Now looking to expand the team, with growth estimated at x10 times over – the focus is on Senior Software Engineers who have experience + passions for:

 

• TDD & BDD advocates – with a strong commitment to quality

• Experience working on large scale distributed software systems

• Brand ambassador for the business + enjoy talking to key stakeholders

• Embrace being challenged beyond the norm, think differently + motivated by making an impact + team player

 

Tech Stack:

• Experience with Kafka Streams (or streams based platform Samza + Storm) to build resilient, scalable structures

• JVM infrastructure …..

• Deployed with Docker / Kubernetes via (CI Jenkins) + completely automated test suite

• Experience with Java Core AND/OR Kotlin / Scala or desire to learn

• React, React Native, RabbitMQ, AWS Aurora Postgres, Babel

• Experienced rewriting infrastructure into new microservices though Kafka

• Scaling the product to more customers / dealing with performance problems

• API’s
